Day One - Arrival Leh

Arrive at Leh airport by flight and transfer to hotel. Today, you must acclimatize to high altitude for a full day. You can explore the Leh market in the evening to buy souvenirs, handicrafts, and antique items. Night stay in Leh.

Day Two - Leh Sightseeing 

After breakfast, have a day tour of Sham Valley, famous for its historical and natural loveliness. Visit Magnetic Hills, where vehicles seem to move due to an optical illusion. Visit Gurudawara Patthar Sahib, which was built in honor of Guru Nanak Dev. Visit the Hall of Fame, which shows the history of the Indian army in the region. Next, you can visit the Spituk Monastery to admire the statues from the 14th century. Next, visit Likir Monastery, famous for its enormous Buddha statue. Return to the hotel till evening. Day Three - Leh to Nubra Valley

After breakfast, start your journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung La. Khardung La is the highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive at your hotel in villages such as Diskit or Hunder. After checking in, you can visit the Diskit monastery, famous for its Maitreya Buddha statue. In the evening, you can ride a camel in the dunes of Hunder village. Night stay in Hunder/Diskit.

Day Four - Hunder to Pangong 

After breakfast, travel to Pangong via Durbuk on the road carved near the Shyok River. Reach Pangong in the afternoon and explore the blue water of Pangong Lake. Yes, Ladakh is a high-altitude desert area. Only Leh city is 3500 Mts. You should have 1 full day of acclimatization to move to a higher altitude from Leh City.

What should I pack for the Ladakh trip

- Basic Medical kit with medicines for altitude sickness used in rare cases

- walking shoes, a camera, and a water bottle

- Sunglasses and a hat for sunlight protection

- Warm clothes, even in summer temperature may drop to 5 degree

Is a trip to Ladakh safe for Kinds and older people
