Tara devi temple Shimla

Tara devi temple is located on Tara devi hills near Shoghi Shimla. This temple is dedicated to goddess Tara.

The temple is surrounded by lush green forest and makes a peaceful environment for visitors. Tara devi temple is also famous for its 360 degree view of surrounding hills as it is located on the hill top. This temple is a famous religious tourist destination for locals and tourists. Temple can be reached by taxi alternatively trekking route is also available from Anandpur and Tara devi railways station

Sankat Mochan temple

Sankat Mochan temple is situated on the foothills of Shimla town near Tara devi hill dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Sankat Moachan temple was established by Neem Karoli Baba in 1950 as they spent 10 to 12 years here. It is located just beside the Kalka Shimla Highway and provides a peaceful environment to devotees. This temple provides a peaceful surrounding to visitors throughout the year.

Kalibari temple

The location of Kalibari temple is on Mall road at Bontony Hill. This temple is located on a strategic point located between Shimla railways station and Mall road. The temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali known as Shyamala Devi. A visit to Kali Bari temple can be combined with local sightseeing in Shimla.

Jakhu temple

Jakhu temple is placed on the highest peak of Shimla at 8054 feet. This temple is one of the most important temples in Shimla among all temples of Shimla. Jakhu temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. It is located on Jakhu hill 2.5 km away from ridge ground. This temple is surrounded by towering deodar trees. This temple is also famous for tourists who want to see scenery with the temple. A large statue of Lord Hanuman was built at this location in 2010. The temple can be reached by taxi from the side of St. Bed’s collage. Alternatively you can also take ropeway from US club to Jakhu temple.

Kamna Devi Temple

Kamna devi temple is located on Prospect Hill near Bolieuganj. This temple is dedicated to Kamna devi mata. It is located on a hilltop 2 km away from Boileuhanj market. There is a breathtaking view of surrounding hills from the top of the temple. Visitors can combine their visit to the temple with a glorious view of surroundings.
