History of Tibetan Monastery Manali

Buddhist monastery, or Tibetan monastery, was established in the year 1969. It is also called Manali Gompa. Established by Lama Wangdor Rinpoche, this monastery is the oldest in North India. Volunteers and donations built this monastery. After establishing the monastery, he settled in Manali and began teaching Buddhism to locals and other Buddhists.
